DINA POULOS, DIRECTOR

"Style is knowing who you are and what you want to say, with no approval needed."

Being born and raised in Montreal, Canada, a well-known fashion capitol of the world, makes it no surprise that this Sacramento bridal shop owner has a natural passion for fashion. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business and a minor in the arts, Dina took a position with a large airline as a corporate event planner becoming a world traveler for many years until her first son was born and time with family was more important than her travels.

Through her journeys around the globe, she gained even more enthusiasm for different cultures and their people. Utilizing the experience and knowledge she gained in business and in her adventures, Dina became a leader in training staff on above and beyond customer service skills.

Dina had an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for fashion, and decided it was time for her to embrace her true calling. In 2012 Bride to Be Couture was born! Dina’s keen eye for design combined with a true love and passion for what she does is the very essence behind Bride To Be Couture and it is shown throughout the entire team. They are truly honored to be the chosen bridal shop for every person who walks through the door.

“There is no better feeling than seeing the reaction of happiness and tears of joy from the bride and their family as they find “THE DRESS”. It is such a fulfillment,
and sincerely rewarding, to know that most of our customers arrive as strangers and leave as friends.”

“It has been an amazing journey! In the first 5 years of operation we have experienced a tremendous growth curve and are ecstatic about being chosen and named the number #1 bridal store in Sacramento on KCRA’s A-List, year after year. I am truly thankful to our clients and my entire team for the success we have achieved. We promise to continue to work diligently to bring you
something fresh and unique in fashion for your wedding, and to offer the best shopping experience for your special day”

“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” ― Coco Chanel

Monica Camilleri is a Sacramento Native with a devotion and deep appreciation for fashion and art. After studying Sports Journalism for years, including a three year internship with the Sacramento Bee's Sport's Department, she rediscovered a childhood passion for the craft of making things by hand, particularly clothing. She transferred to a local design school, majoring in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising, where she excelled and was honored with Best in Show in the school’s annual Fashion Show in 2011.

After a long career in retail, Monica was ecstatic to pursue her love for fashion, and love of people by joining the Bride To Be Couture staff in 2015. She loves the genuine connection that is built between between her and her brides, as it is truly her passion to help every girl find the dress of her dreams.
